Trump Raises $50 Million in One-Day Campaign Event

Former President Donald Trump has raised a record $50 million from a one-day campaign event last Saturday.

After Biden’s campaign event a few weeks ago, which was reported to have brought in $26 million, a record for a one-day fundraising event, the Trump camp had promised to break the record and was hoping to bring in $33 million. The event for Trump was held in Palm Beach, Florida and was hosted by billionaire John Paulson.

Trump posted the following message on his Truth Social account about the fundraiser:

“Biggest night in Fund Raising of ALL TIME!!!Will double up the Biden number of last week at Radio City. People are desperate for change. They want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! DJT”


President Joe Biden made a pitch to his donors while criticizing Trump as getting money from billionaires. Here is what Biden posted on X:

“While Trump is raising money from a bunch of hedge fund billionaires, our grassroots campaign raised $187M this quarter because of folks like you. Our grassroots team knows what’s at stake in this election, and they’re pitching in to make sure we win:
