Former President Donald Trump won 14 of 15 states (at the time of this writing) on Super Tuesday over former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, while President Joe Biden won 15 of the 16 Democrat contests.
Trump got approximately 722 delegates from the races, while Haley picked up about 19. Haley’s lone victory came from Vermont. Super Tuesday came one day after Trump won the North Dakota Republican Caucus.
In total, Trump has 995 delegates toward the 1,215 needed to win the nomination. Haley sits at 89 delegates.
Biden currently has a total of 1,497 delegates of the 1,968 needed to secure the Democrat nomination. He lost four delegates (out of six) to Jason Palmer, who won American Samoa.
Trump posted the following message on his Truth Social account in response to the victories:
“We are going to win this election, because we have no choice…if we lose the election, we’re not going to have a Country left!”

Haley’s social media pages did not have a response to the results. However, her campaign did release a statement that said,
“We’re honored to have received the support of millions of Americans across the country today, including in Vermont where Nikki became the first Republican woman to win two presidential primary contests. Unity is not achieved by simply claiming ‘we’re united.’ Today, in state after state, there remains a large block of Republican primary voters who are expressing deep concerns about Donald Trump. That is not the unity our party needs for success. Addressing those voters’ concerns will make the Republican Party and America better.”

Biden does have two opponents with widespread ballot access challenging his nomination: Marianne Williamson and Dean Phillips. Neither challenger has won any delegates.
Biden had the following to say on X:
“Today, millions of voters across the country made their voices heard—showing that they are ready to fight back against Donald Trump’s extreme plan to take us backwards. Every generation of Americans will face a moment when it has to defend democracy. This is our fight.”

Palmer, who is the only Democrat challenger to Biden with delegates, posted the following on Facebook:
